Participating EIW Employers, Listed By Date - Now Available Online

If you are participating in EIW and/or plan to visit any of the firms that you didn't obtain an interview with through EIW, you should check out "EIW Participating Employers - By Date", available on the OCS website's Early Interview Week page. This is a list of all the firms coming to EIW and the day they will be at Washington Court. You can review this list to see what date the firms you are interested in will be at the hotel, and prep for firms you may not have interviews with. This is especially useful for 3Ls, who are encouraged to network with any firms they are interested in, even those that may not be currently interviewing 3Ls through EIW. If you interested in dropping off your materials for a firm that does not have a hospitality suite, you may want to try to catch the interviewer on a break -- we will have copies of the interviewers' schedules at the student information table.

Reminder – EIW Orientation – next Saturday, August 11 at 11:00 a.m. at the Washington Court Hotel

If you are participating in Early Interview Week, plan to attend the EIW Orientation next Saturday, August 11 at 11:00 a.m. at the Washington Court Hotel.  At the Orientation, you will learn how to research employers, best prepare for interviews, use your time most effectively and recognize and handle illegal or inappropriate interview questions.  OCS staff members will also explain important EIW procedures and logistics.  In addition, Assistant Dean Marcia Shannon will moderate a panel of law firm recruiting personnel and hiring partners who will candidly discuss the economy, its effect on hiring, and provide guidance on maximizing your interviews. Use Your EIW References Strategically!

Each student participating in EIW will want to assemble a list of three to four references to provide EIW employers.  References can be a combination of law school professors (use undergraduate and graduate professors only if you don’t have a connection to a law school professor) and employers/summer internship supervisors.  Before listing a reference you should ask each individual if he or she is willing to serve as a reference.
