As a reminder, the International Internship Program bidding deadline is TOMORROW, Thursday, January 24, at 9:00 am.
You may bid on up to 12 private sector employers and 10 public sector
employers. In order to complete your bids, you must upload a resume for
private sector employers and both a resume AND COVER LETTER for public sector employers.
Please keep in mind that the system has been known to get extremely
bogged down on the deadline day, so we encourage you to submit your bids
as early as possible.
For more information about the International Internship Program, please refer to the IIP Student Instruction Packet: International Internship Program Summer 2013 Student Instruction Packet
New Employer:
IIP Public Sector - The European Chemicals Agency, Helsinki, Finland, is recruiting 1L and 2L students for a paid summer internship position.
Reminders:
You
must carefully consider whether you are interested in a particular
employer and would accept a position, if offered, before you submit your
bids. Georgetown has assured sponsors that students have considered the
financial, housing, and logistical issues associated with international
internships and are likely to accept the positions if offered.
If you accept an offer from an employer, you are bound to your promise to intern for that employer and will NOT
be allowed to renege in the event that you receive other offers after
the date of your acceptance, regardless of whether those offers are from
more well-paid or prestigious offices.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the Office of Career Services at carsvcs1@law.georgetown.edu or the Office of Public Interest and Community Service at opics@law.georgetown.edu.
