A number of state courts from around the country send OCS clerkship announcements. Individual announcements are posted under the job postings tab of Symplicity. Try using "judicial" in a keyword search to pull up postings. Keep in mind that announcements on Symplicity are not exhaustive of all state court clerkship opportunities available, so if you are interested in a particular state court system, please visit the State Court Clerkships section of the Clerkship page of the OCS website. OCS has published a clerkship GPA data chart as an aid to you in determining what types of clerkships for which you may be most competitive.

State courts judges are not bound by the Federal Law Clerk Hiring Plan and may interview and extend offers at their discretion, including before federal judges consider current students in September.
