The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) has announced a new attorney honors program for its Office of the General Counsel (OGC) located at DOE headquarters in Washington, D.C.
Applications are being accepted via USAJOBS from graduating law students (3Ls/4Es) and recent law grads (e.g., judicial law clerks). The application deadline has been extended to Friday September 30, 2011.
This is an important new opportunity because the DOE OGC previously hired only experienced attorneys, and the persons selected for the attorney honors program will be eligible for conversion to permanent attorney positions.
For questions about this opportunity contact DOE staff member Tonya Harrison at 202-571-268-4052; tonya.harrison@hq.doe.gov
