J.D. alumni can access career resources, counseling, and job postings for both public and private sector jobs. The Office of Career Strategy (OCS) offers personal career guidance, digital resources, as well as an online job database (known as Symplicity) that allows alumni to search through opportunities as well as clerkships. Please call (202) 662-9300 to schedule an appointment to help define your goals, develop a job search strategy, and research potential employers.

The Office of Graduate Career and Professional Development provides career and professional development to alumni of all Georgetown Law graduate programs. In addition to resume reviews, the Office also provides regular networking opportunities in the United States and abroad.

The Office of Public Interest and Community Service is the primary career office for students who are interested in exploring public interest and government legal opportunities. OPICS has four professional career advisors that meet with both students and alumni.

Additionally, all Georgetown Law alumni have access to career services through the University. The mission of Alumni Career Strategy is to provide lifelong career development as well as networking opportunities for alumni, wherever they are on their career path. With your NetID and password, you will get access to University networking opportunities, resume and interview services, job search guides, and webinars on career development.
