Brief Bio

ProfessorĀ Einat AlbinĀ is a Professor of Labour Law at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Her research examines the regulation of labour markets in periods of economic and technological transformation, with a particular focus on service work, data protection in employment, and the governance of algorithmic management and artificial intelligence in the workplace.

Her work explores how evolving economic structures and digital technologies reshape relations of power between workers, employers, and the range of actors involved in the design and deployment of workplace technologies. Combining doctrinal, theoretical, and empirical approaches, her scholarship contributes to contemporary debates on the future of labour law and its capacity to address emerging forms of dependency and control in modern labour markets.
