In Word XP, you can quickly search for every occurrence of a specific word or phrase.
- Go to the top of your document.
- Click on the word Edit in the Menu bar.
- Select the option Find.
- The Find and Replace dialog will appear, with the Find
tab active.

- Type in the text you are looking for in the Find What
field.
- Click on the Find Next button.
- Microsoft Word will highlight the first instance of the text that it finds
within your document.
- Click on the Find Next button again, to find the next
instance of the same text.
- Microsoft Word will continue to find all instances.
- When there are no more instances, or when Microsoft Word has reached the
end of your document, the following dialog will appear.

- Click on the OK button to return to the document.
Click HERE to return to the Table of Contents.
