Adjust Document Margins

  1. Click on the word File in the menu bar.
  2. Choose the option Page Setup.
  3. The Page Setup dialog will appear.
  4. Go to the Margins tab.

  5. Select the desired options.
  6. Click on the OK button.
  7. The margins will be changed for the entire document.
Note: To change the margins for part of a document, select the text, and then set the desired margins. In the Apply To dropdown list, choose the Selected Text option. Microsoft Word automatically inserts section breaks before and after the text with the new margin settings. If your document is already divided into sections, you can click in a section or select multiple sections, and change the margins.
