Styles can be accessed two ways.
- Through the Style icon

- Through the Styles and Formatting icon
.
The Style icon displays the name of the currently applied
style. Clicking on the downward pointing arrow to the immediate right
of the Style icon
will display a list of the styles that you are using in your document,
which are normally Microsoft’s default styles: Normal,
Heading 1, Heading 2, and Heading 3.
Clicking on the Styles and Formatting icon
opens the Styles and Formatting Task Pane, pictured to
the right. To display more styles in the task pane, click on the downward
pointing arrow to the right of the Show field (located
in the lower, right-hand side of the task pane) and choose the option
All Styles.
