Change the Alignment of Text in a Table

By default, Microsoft Word aligns table text to the upper left of a cell. You can change the alignment of text in a cell, both vertically (top, center, or bottom) and horizontally (left, center, or right) by using the Tables and Borders toolbar.
  1. Select the cells that contain text you want to align.
  2. Display the Tables and Borders toolbar.
  3. Click on the on arrow to the right of the Align icon in the Tables and Borders toolbar.

  4. Select the option for the desired alignment, such as Align Bottom Right.
  5. The text will be aligned accordingly
