*Adhering to these priority guidelines allow us to certify your federal or private loans in a timely manner PRIOR to the Office of Student Account’s tuition due dates.
Federal loan applications must be applied for within 120 days PRIOR to the start of class to ensure that your credit remains open at certification. We advise that ALL federal and private loan applicants follow their relevant student status date above.
*If you are admitted AFTER June 1st, please move forward with applying for your loans just prior to submitting your Blue Loan Certification Request.
BEFORE YOU CONTINUE: If you have placed a security freeze on your credit file, you must lift or remove the freeze at each credit bureau before you continue. Your federal application will remain pending and not processed by the Department of Education if you have a security freeze.
You can check the disbursement of your loans on the student accounts tab in MyAccess.
