Brief Bio

Prof. Ornella Porchia is full professor of EU Law at the Law Faculty of the University of Turin. She has been lawyer since 1994 (Bar Council of Torino – Ordine degli Avvocati di Torino). She holds a Ph.D in International Economic Law (University Bocconi of Milano). She is Director of the Master on “Management of European Programmes. Design, Management and Control” organized by the School of Business Administration of the University of Turin. She is country coordinator and professor in the “European Master in Law and Policies of European Integration”, organised by the Universidad Autonoma de Barcelona (Spain), Université de Montpellier I (France), Università degli Studi di Milano (Italy), Universytet Szczecinski (Poland). Prof. Ornella Porchia is member of the scientific committee of the Master in Food Law of the University of Turin. She is currently serving as consultant at the Service for Legal Studies of the Italian Constitutional Court in Rome.
