Digital Georgetown
Digital Georgetown contains the digital collections of the Georgetown University Law Library. This repository provides public online access to digitized resources from the Law Library’s collection, including rare books, manuscript and other special collections, the Law Center Archives, digital material from library partners, and more. With more than 20,000 unique digital objects, Digital Georgetown serves an important function in providing access to deep and rich information for legal and interdisciplinary research and to support the curricular and experiential programs at the Law Center.
The Law Library’s digital collections are one component of the broader Digital Georgetown platform, which is maintained and administered by Georgetown University Library. In production since 2009, the University Library’s Digital Georgetown repository includes thousands of additional unique digital records from the Library’s collections. Digital Georgetown is currently migrating to a customized Hyku application, built on the open source Samvera framework supported by librarians, technologists, and staff from the University Library.
