Dean’s Achievement Award
The Dean’s Achievement award is presented at Dean William M. Treanor’s discretion to the students who have shown outstanding leadership and made invaluable contributions to the Georgetown Law Community.
American Law Institute Continuing Legal Education Scholarship and Leadership Award
The American Law Institute Continuing Legal Education Scholarship and Leadership award is presented to a law student in the graduating class who best represents a combination of scholarship and leadership, the qualities of the American Law Institute.
Joyce Chiang Memorial Award
The Joyce Chiang Memorial award is presented to the graduating, part-time student with a demonstrable commitment to public service.
Erika “Ricky” Yeager
Jeffrey Crandall Award
The Jeffrey Crandall award is presented to the graduating student who “best exemplifies the ideals and commitment of the late Jeffrey Crandall, whose involvement in legal aid and personal dedication to his fellow man inspired the establishment of the fund in his name”.
National Association of Women Lawyers Outstanding Law Student Award
The National Association of Women Lawyers Outstanding Law Student award is presented to the graduating student who best represents the following criteria: contributes to the advancement of women in society; promotes issues and concerns of women in the profession; exhibits motivation, tenacity and academic achievement; and earns the respect of the Georgetown Law community.
The Tutorial award is presented to graduating students for their outstanding contributions to the Tutorial Program.
Washington Law Reporter Award
The Washington Law Reporter award is presented to the graduating student whose efforts during the preceding six months have most contributed to the success of the Student Bar Association.
Bettina E. Pruckmayr Memorial Award
The Bettina E. Pruckmayr Memorial Award is presented to the graduating J.D. student who has demonstrated a commitment to international human rights work.
Westin Scholar Book Award
The Westin Scholar Book Award is sponsored by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), which created a fund to support students who are identified by their professors as future leaders in the field of privacy or data protection.
St. Thomas More Award
The St. Thomas More award is presented to the top three graduating note author for their outstanding work on the Georgetown Journal of Legal Ethics.
Milton A. Kaufman Award
The Milton A. Kaufman award is presented to the students who do the best work for the year on the Georgetown Law Journal.
Georgetown Law Journal Meritorious Service Award
The Georgetown Law Journal Meritorious Service award is presented to graduating journal members whose hard work and spirit as non Senior Board members made an outstanding contribution to the journal.
Dean’s Certificates are presented to graduating students in recognition of special and outstanding service to the Georgetown Law community.
