Application Process
2026-27 Academic Year Applications are now open!
Please visit the Application portal and log in as a Student using your NetID and permanent password (as you would to access your Georgetown email account). Both Admissions deposits must be submitted before you are able to access the application, there may be a slight delay in processing. In previous years, the Office of Residence Life has been able to offer on-campus housing to the overwhelming majority of the students who applied.

2026-27 Housing Application Dates
The 2026-27 housing application is now open. It will remain open throughout the Summer. You will not be able to select a room before the lottery takes place but will be able to form roommate groups.
The lottery will take place the morning of May 20, 2026 EST(pending approval) – Housing applications are due prior to this date to enter the housing lottery. After the lottery takes place residents will be able to select a room immediately, subject to availability.
May 22, 2026 – First housing selections will be able to be made.
Approximately July 1, 2026 – Room rents charged to student accounts.
August 1, 2026 – Cancellation fee applied after this date.
Approximately August 1, 2026 – Move-in information sent out.
August 15, 2026 – Move-in day. Move-in times are by floor. You will receive your time with the rest of the move-in information.
