Item Management Buttons

When you open an item within a folder or forum, you will find various item management buttons. With the exception of the Previous and the Next buttons, these buttons are only visible to site managers (faculty), not to users (students).

1. The Previous Button
   This button is only available in folders or forums on the Documents, Discussion and Picture tabs and only when you have more than one item. When you open an item on one of those tabs, it opens in its own separate window. Use this button to view the previous item in its own window.
2. The Reply Button
   This button is only available on the Discussion tab. Use this button to reply to a posted message.
3. The Edit Button
   Use this button to edit an item's properties, including its title, content, attachment, and availability.
4. The Delete Button
   Use this button to delete an item. Items that you delete will be moved to the site's Recycle Bin, from where they can be recovered.
5. The Page Preview Button
   Use this button to see what a page will look like to your users. The page will appear without management options and without any hidden tabs, folders, forums, or items.
6. The Next Button
   This button is only available in folders or forums on the Documents, Discussion and Picture tabs and only when you have more than one item. When you open an item on one of those tabs, it opens in its own separate window. Use this button to view the next item in its own window.
