Inserting a New Bulleted Slide

  1. Click on the word Insert in the Menu Bar.
  2. Select the option New Slide.
  3. A new bulleted slide, which is the PowerPoint default for all newly inserted slides, will appear in your presentation.

  4. Click where indicated to add the title and text.
  5. If you do not want a bulleted slide, choose the desired layout from the Slide Layout Task Pane by clicking once on the appropriate layout icon.
  6. The selected slide layout will appear in your presentation.

Note: You can also use the New Slide icon located in the Formatting toolbar to insert a new slide.
