After applying design templates or inserting slides from another presentation,
the slide layouts may be off. It’s easy to fix: simply reapply the appropriate
slide layout to the individual slide.
- Select the slide that needs the new formatting.
- Click on the dropdown arrow in the upper right-hand corner of the Task Pane.
- Select the option Slide Layout.
- A list of various slide layouts will appear in the Task Pane.
- Hold your cursor over the appropriate layout and click once on the dropdown arrow that appears to its left.
- Click on the Reapply Layout button.
- The slide will now have the correct formatting.
