Reapplying Slide Layouts

After applying design templates or inserting slides from another presentation, the slide layouts may be off. It’s easy to fix: simply reapply the appropriate slide layout to the individual slide.
  1. Select the slide that needs the new formatting.
  2. Click on the dropdown arrow in the upper right-hand corner of the Task Pane.
  3. Select the option Slide Layout.
  4. A list of various slide layouts will appear in the Task Pane.
  5. Hold your cursor over the appropriate layout and click once on the dropdown arrow that appears to its left.
  6. Click on the Reapply Layout button.
  7. The slide will now have the correct formatting.
