Animating
Objects within a Slide
|
You can set various animation effects for your slides. For example, you can have
text appear letter-by-letter, word-by-word, or paragraph-by-paragraph. You can
also have objects emerge sequentially throughout your slides, and even animate
the elements of your charts. You can also change the order in which objects appear
on a slide, and you can set timings for each object. To animate your slides, follow
these easy instructions.
- Go to the slide that has the text or objects you want to animate.
- Select the part of the slide you want to animate
- Click on the dropdown arrow in the upper right-hand corner of the Task
Pane.
- Select the option Custom Animation.
- Select the part of the slide you want to animate.
- Click on the Add Effect button in the Task Pane.

- Choose the desired animation effect.
- The animation effect will be demonstrated and applied to the selected slide.
- Modify the effect as desired (direction, speed, etc.).
- To view your animations, go to the Slide Show view.
Note: To remove a custom animation, select the animated object
within the slide, click on the downward pointing arrow to the right of the object’s
name in the Task Pane, and choose the option Remove.
