Instructions for Setting up LawVault using Windows Vista or Windows 7 ruler
    1. Click on the Start button.
    2. A submenu will appear.
    3. Choose the option Computer.
    4. The Computer dialog will appear.
    5. Click on the word File in the menubar. (If you do not see the menu bar, press the Alt key on your keyboard.)
    6. Choose the option Add a Network Location.
    7. The first dialog of the Add Network Location Wizard will appear.
    8. Click on the Next button.
    9. The second dialog of the Add Network Location Wizard will appear.
    10. Click on the Choose a custom network location option and click on the Next button.
    11. The third dialog of the Add Network Location Wizard will appear.
      • To access your G:\Drive, type https://law-vault.georgetown.edu/user/departmentname/netid in the Internet or Network Address field.
      • To access your H:\Drive, type https://law-vault.georgetown.edu/shared/departmentname in the Internet or Network Address field.
      • To access your I:\Drive, type https://law-vault.georgetown.edu/campus in the Internet or Network Address field.
    12. Click on the Next button.
    13. A Connecting to law-vault.georgetown.edu dialog will appear.
    14. Type gulaw\Your NetID (i.e., gulaw\abc12) in the User Name field.
    15. Type your Law Center password in the Password field.
    16. Click on the OK button.
    17. The fourth dialog of the Add Network Location Wizard will appear.
    18. Type a name for your folder in the What Do You Want To Name This Location field and click on the Next button.
    19. The fifth dialog of the Add Network Location Wizard will appear.
    20. Click on the Finish button.
    21. After approximately 10 seconds, your new LawVault folder will open, listing those folders and files that are available on your network drive.
