- Click on the Start button.
- A submenu will appear.
- Choose the option My Network Places.
- The My Network Places dialog will appear.
- Double-click on the Add a Network Place option.
- The first dialog of the Add Network Place Wizard will appear.
- Click on the Next button.
- The second dialog of the Add Network Place Wizard will appear.
- Select the Choose Another Network Location option and click on the Next button.
- The third dialog of the Add Network Place Wizard will appear.
- To access your G:\Drive, type https://law-vault.georgetown.edu/user/departmentname/netid in the Internet or Network Address field.
- To access your H:\Drive, type https://law-vault.georgetown.edu/shared/departmentname in the Internet or Network Address field.
- To access your I:\Drive, type https://law-vault.georgetown.edu/campus in the Internet or Network Address field.
- Click on the Next button.
- A Connect to law-vault.georgetown.edu dialog
will appear.
- Type gulaw\YourNetID in the User Name field.
- Type your Law Center password in the Password field.
- Click on the OK button.
- The fourth dialog of the Add Network Place Wizard will appear.
- Type a name for your folder in the What Do You Want To Name This Place field and click on the Next button.
- The fifth dialog of the Add Network Location Wizard will appear.
- Click on the Finish button.
- An empty window will appear, followed by the Connect to law-vault.georgetown.edu dialog.
- Once again, you will need to type gulaw\YourNetID in the User Name field and your Law Center password in the Password field.
- Click on the OK button.
- After approximately 10 seconds, your new LawVault folder will open, listing those folders and files that are available on your network drive.
