What the IST Department Can Do for You ruler

What the IST Department Can do for You:

  1. Provide you with an email account, provided that you have a working Internet connection and a supported web browser.
  2. Provide you with a Law Center network account (G:\Drive) for the temporary storage of files.
  3. Help you install wired and wireless network adapters.
  4. Provide you with network connectivity throughout the Law Center campus.
  5. Provide you with friendly advice regarding computer problems.
What the IST Department Cannot do for You:
  1. We cannot provide off-campus Internet access, as we do not have the capability to do so.
  2. We cannot be responsible for problems related to Internet connectivity or email delivery (e.g. not being able to connect to other websites or not receiving expected emails) that are caused by system malfunctions outside the Law Center domain.
  3. We cannot load or reload any type of software onto a student computer due to licensing restrictions.
  4. We cannot guarantee the back up of the G:\Drive and strongly encourage you to keep an extra copy of any important document.
  5. Software support is only provided for Law Center network connectivity, anti-spyware software, and anti-virus software. We cannot provide any other software or hardware support due to warranty restrictions.
