Erica Hewett joined the Georgetown Law Library as a Reference Librarian in 2026.

Erica earned her J.D., cum laude, from The Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law in 2007. After law school, Erica served as a judicial clerk to the Honorable Michael L. Rankin on the Superior Court of the District of Columbia. Erica practiced law at a firm in New York before returning to Washington, D.C., to work at the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), Office of Inspector General.

Erica earned her M.S. in Library and Information Science with a focus on Law Librarianship from The Catholic University of America in 2025, and was an intern in the Research Department of the Library for the Supreme Court of the United States.

Erica is a member of the New York State and D.C. Bars.
