Associates Program
The Human Rights Associates Program is designed to introduce students to the practice of human rights law, with the hope that developing a background on a variety of human rights skills and practice areas will allow them to become active participants in the community of human rights lawyers.
Each week, we invite a human rights practitioner to meet with our associates and talk about her or his practice. Participants have the unique opportunity to interact with high-level practitioners in an intimate, seminar-style environment and to learn about the practice, challenges, and strategies involved in human rights work. The program will also provide students with advice regarding internships, clinics, and other human rights-related opportunities. Associates also contribute to the Human Rights Institute's blog (see right). The program does not provide academic credit.
The application period for the 2012-2013 Human Rights Associates Program is now closed. For reference, you can access the application here. Please check back next year!
