Geza Feketekuty is a leading expert on international trade policy and a former Senior Assistant U.S. Trade Representative at the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative from 1975 to 1995. During his two decades at USTR, he played an important role in the development of U.S. trade policy, particularly in the emerging field of trade in services. He subsequently served as a Distinguished Professor at the Monterey Institute of International Studies and as Senior Advisor to the President of the Overseas Private Investment Corporation. Feketekuty is the author of International Trade in Services: An Overview and Blueprint for Negotiations, a foundational work on the subject, and has written extensively on international trade and economic diplomacy.
