Issue Briefs & Blog
IIEL offers two distinct formats to keep you informed on international economic law. Our Blog provides timely, short-form analyses of up to 1,200 words from IIEL fellows, staff, and outside experts on breaking issues in the field. For deeper dives, our Issue Brief Series delivers comprehensive, actionable analysis of up to 5,000 words on the economic challenges shaping our world. Both formats cut through complexity to give you what matters most—whether you need a quick take or thorough examination.
If you are interested in having IIEL publish your analysis of international trade, monetary affairs, financial regulation, tax, or any major area impacting the laws governing the global economy for our thousands of high-level readers, please email your submission of approximately to IIEL at lawiiel@georgetown.edu.
John D. Greenwald Writing Competition
IIEL is delighted to partner closely with the student-run Georgetown Journal of International Law (GJIL) to manage the Annual John D. Greenwald Writing Competition, generously sponsored by Cassidy Levy Kent LLP. Each year in the late fall, IIEL and the GJIL seek top student submissions of Notes from current J.D., LL.M., or S.J.D. students in international economic law on issues relevant to international trade law, the jurisprudence of the WTO or regional trade organizations, jurisprudence concerning U.S. trade organizations, or on issues relating to the political economy or the efficacy of U.S. or international trade regimes.
