Maria Alice Camiña is a Research Assistant at the Center on Inclusive Trade and Development, where she focuses on developing trade tools to address climate change. She has interned at the International Monetary Fund, conducting research on the intersection of climate change and gender. Previously, Maria practiced as an attorney for commodities trading firms, specializing in agribusiness matters. She holds an LL.M. in International Legal Studies from Georgetown University Law Center and a Bachelor of Laws from Fundação Getulio Vargas in São Paulo.
