Amb. Peter F. Allgeier
Former Deputy U.S. Trade Representative; Former U.S. Ambassador to the WTO
Peter F. Allgeier is a former Deputy U.S. Trade Representative and U.S. Ambassador to the World Trade Organization, with more than three decades of experience in international trade and economic policy. He served in senior positions at the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative from 1980 to 2009, including Associate USTR for the Western Hemisphere and Assistant USTR for Europe and the Middle East and for Asia and the Pacific. From 2001 to 2009, he served as Deputy U.S. Trade Representative and, concurrently, as the U.S. Ambassador to the WTO from 2005 to 2009. He subsequently served as President of C&M International and the Coalition of Service Industries. He is currently President of Nauset Global LLC, a consulting firm specializing in international trade and investment.
