Alan Yue
Jiangyinglun (Alan) Yue is a first-year law student at the Georgetown Law, and a selected-fellow at the Institute of International Economic Law (IIEL). He graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and a Bachelor of Arts in International Politics from Penn State, where he was honored with the Phi Beta Kappa and Schreyer Honors distinctions. In Spring 2023, Alan received a Master in Law degree from University of Pennsylvania, where he was recognized as a dean’s scholar.
Prior to law school, Alan served as an associate at BNY Mellon, where he was responsible for client reporting on various ad-hoc projects and delved deep into portfolio performance analysis, primarily focusing on clients from the EMEA and North America regions across diverse sectors. During his corporate finance internship at Mars Wrigley, Alan pinpointed discrepancies between demand and production planning processes, suggesting forward-thinking solutions. His exemplary performance led him to be the sole intern chosen for a return offer, which he furthered the career in the finance controllership team. Alan’s diverse experience is also enriched by his international background in London and Beijing, where he interned at notable organizations such as The Ministry of Justice of China, DHH Law, and China Development Bank.
At Georgetown Law, Alan is not only an IIEL fellow but also serves as a 1L Representative for the Federalist Society (FedSoc), the 1L Social Committee Lead for the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association (APALSA), and he is actively engaged with the Corporate & Financial Law Organization (CFLO), JLSA, and OutLaw.
