Aman graduated from University of Mumbai in 2019 completing his BLS.LL.B. (Degree in Law) from his home country, India. Before he graduated from Law School, Aman interned at the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India working directly under the supervision of the Hon’ble Registrar of Companies. At the MCA, Aman was an integral part of the team that investigated the corporate malpractices of a large- scale Non-Banking Financial Corporation. 

After completing his degree in Law, Aman joined one of India’s largest conglomerates, Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited (a subsidiary of Reliance Industries Limited) in November 2019. Over the course of his three and a half year tenure at Jio, Aman supported various verticals such as Internet of Things (IoT), Technology and Platform Services, Telecom and Fiber Services and Renewable Energy in the mobility/automotive space. As an in-house counsel, his key responsibilities were to ensure continuous support to the business in a seamless manner, whilst safeguarding the company from any legal risks that may emanate.

Aman assisted and supported in building end-to-end processes and protocols. Having negotiated over 100 contracts for the company in fields as diverse as device partnerships for network locked devices, due-diligence for a multi-billion dollar fund raise by the company, requisite agreements for creating prototype hydrogen vehicles for the future of green mobility, as well as being involved in government contracts for IoT Services. Along with these responsibilities, Aman was also handed over the mandate of creating a robust reporting process for the Chairman of the company in order to keep him informed about developments in various ongoing negotiations. 

Alongside his endeavours in the field of Corporate Law, Aman is currently the Vice-President of his alma mater at the Jamnabai Narsee Alumni Association and is an active board member of the Andheri Education Society where he advises the board on various administrative and legal matters. In his spare time, he loves to play and watch soccer and support his team Manchester United. 

At Georgetown, Aman is pursuing his LL.M. in International Business and Economic Law as a Merit Scholar. He is also pursuing an additional certification in Securities and Financial Law. He has been exploring his dual interests in International Law & Development as well as Corporate Law during his time at the Georgetown and at the Institute. He hopes to develop a skillset in his areas of interest and wants to make a meaningful contribution through his work and positively impact the lives of as many people as possible.
