Ameir is a fellow at the Institute of International Economic Law and a second-year law student at the Georgetown University Law Center. A business and political science graduate from Dalhousie University, his undergraduate research centered on cross-border trade issues with a particular focus on the USMCA agreement. During his undergraduate degree, he completed internships in banking and capital markets.

As an associate on TD’s Institutional Equities trading desk, Ameir conducted research on structural products and assisted in managing investor relations. He also co-founded and served as editor for a full-scale business publication — The Dalhousie Business Review — at his undergraduate institution. As well as serving as chair of the Dalhousie Senate’s Student Caucus.

At Georgetown Law he sits on the Finance Student-Faculty Committee.
