A Levey

Andrew Levey is an LL.M. Student in the International Business & Economic Law program, where he is specializing in International Trade and Investment law. He is also a practicing attorney with the U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Office of Trade.

He earned his Juris Doctor, Cum Laude from the American University Washington College of Law and his Bachelor of Arts from The George Washington University. During law school, he was a student attorney in the Glushko – Samuelson Intellectual Property Law Clinic, where he helped author an Amicus Curie in support of Copyright registration approaches and was a senior staffer on the IP Brief. Additionally, he clerked for the Center for the Protection of Intellectual Property, U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia, Cyber Unit and, The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Prior to law school, Andrew worked as an Intelligence Analyst for a D.C. area defense firm.
