Giovanni Dall’Agnola is an LL.M. candidate in International Business & Economic Law, with a certificate in WTO & International Trade Studies, and a Fulbright scholar at Georgetown University Law Center. He also received merit scholarships from Georgetown and the Milan Bar Association for his LL.M. studies. At Georgetown, he is a Fellow of the Institute of International Economic Law and a Research Assistant at the Center on Inclusive Trade and Development. He is particularly passionate about international trade law and development.

Giovanni received a Combined Bachelor and Master of Science in Law summa cum laude from Bocconi University (Milan, Italy) in December 2020. He majored in public international law and wrote a thesis in international investment law and arbitration under the supervision of Prof. Giorgio Sacerdoti. During his law studies in Italy, he was a visiting student at King’s College London. He also participated in the 27th edition of the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot and served as an editor of Bocconi Legal Papers.

Before coming to Georgetown, Giovanni practiced international arbitration and litigation in the Milan offices of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP and Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP.
