Woudese Befikadu is a 1L J.D. candidate at Georgetown Law. She graduated from Johns Hopkins University in 2019 where she double majored in International Studies and Public Health with a minor in Africana Studies. After college, she worked in healthcare consulting and traveled.

As an IIEL Fellow, she hopes to get exposure to the intersection of law and international development through research and events. At Georgetown Law, she is in RISE, the Black Law Students Association, the Immigration Law Student Association, and the Human Rights Associates Program.
