September 1, 2024: Classes Begin
December 15-21, 2024: Final Exam Period

Available Courses

Because course offerings taught in English during any one year are often very limited, this program is currently limited to students who are proficient in Korean. Confirmed course offerings are made available to admitted students at the end of July. Students may not receive credit for courses that focus primarily on US law. These courses include, but are not limited to: American Constitutional Law: Civil Liberties and Rights; American Law and Legal Systems; Anglo-American Law; US Contract Law; US Criminal Practice.

Because course offerings may change from year to year, it is possible that additional courses may be offered. Participants in this program who wish to enroll in any course not listed must contact the Office of Transnational Programs by email to request approval. Participants should not expect to receive credit for courses that are not expressly approved by OTP.

Credit earned at Yonsei is calculated with reference to the ABA’s standard class formula (12.5 hours of class time, plus 30 hours of out of class preparation and studying, per one credit hour.) Students may be asked to verify the number of minutes each course meets in order to confirm the number of credits they will receive upon completion of their program. See the Study Abroad Policy for details.

Yonsei courses are graded on an A-F scale. Complete grading information is available online.
