HRI's paper series, Perspectives on Human Rights, presents essays, working papers and research on current issues in human rights with implications for law and policy.

HRI’s Legal & Policy Advocacy Project engages with international and regional human rights bodies and other international organizations, international and domestic courts, and the U.S. federal government to promote understanding of and respect for human rights law.

HRI also works with the International Migrants Bill of Rights Initiative, a transnational network of scholars, practitioners and students, based at Georgetown, whose mission is to advocate for the protection of the human rights of all migrants.

For over a decade, HRI’s Fact-Finding Project engaged in systematic human rights fact-finding investigations and prepared research reports analyzing human rights violations and proposing law and policy reforms.

Examining the experiences of workers who are vulnerable to forced labor.

Examining violence and discrimination against women and LGBT individuals.

Featuring written testimonies to international human rights bodies, law review articles, and other works on the rights of children and juveniles.

Featuring law review articles, books, and joint initiatives on the rights of refugees and migrants.
