Professor Begley is a Senior Associate in the Litigation Department of Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr LLP, where her practice concentrates on patent litigation at the trial and appellate level. Prior to joining private practice, she served as a law clerk to the Honorable Sharon Prost of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and the Honorable S. James Otero of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. Professor Begley graduated magna cum laude from Cornell University Law School, where she was elected to the Order of the Coif and was awarded the Kasowitz Prize for Excellence in Legal Writing and Oral Advocacy. During law school, she served as Editor-in-Chief of the Cornell International Law Journal and as an Honors Fellow for first-year legal research and writing. Professor Begley received a B.S., summa cum laude, from Loyola College in Maryland. At Loyola, she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and received the Whelan Medal for the highest cumulative G.P.A. in the graduating class.
