B.A. with honors, Colgate, 1971; J.D., Georgetown, 1974. Professor Bregman is a partner at Bregman, Berbert, Schwartz & Gilday LLC, where his practice focuses on commercial real estate document drafting and negotiations, commercial (real estate and business) and residential transaction closings, landlord/tenant matters, corporate representation, mediation and arbitration, and real estate litigation. He has practiced as a member of the firms of Fossett & Brugger and Duckett, Orem, Christie and Beckett. In addition to teaching at the Law Center, Professor Bregman teaches the same course at Columbia Law School and has taught real estate and business law at the University of Maryland. He has co-authored Successful Real Estate Negotiation (Harper Collins) and authored Maryland Landlord Tenant Law Practice and Procedure, Fourth Edition (Lexis/Nexis). He clerked for Judge J. Dudley Digges of the Maryland Court of Appeals. He has been elected to the American College of Real Estate Lawyers.
