Currently a partner with Sonosky, Chambers, Sachse, Endreson & Perry, LLP, Professor Chambers represents tribes and Alaskan native groups in negotiations or litigation involving land and water rights, bingo management contracts, hunting and fishing rights, ANCSA land selections, Indian taxation, oil and gas rights, welfare matters, and hydroelectric power rights. Before joining the firm, he served as Associate Solicitor for Indian Affairs at the Department of the Interior. Professor Chambers has also worked for Arnold & Porter LLP as an associate. Professor Chambers has taught as a Chapman Distinguished Visiting Professor at the University of Tulsa Law School, a Visiting Lecturer at Yale Law School and was an acting professor of law at UCLA.
