Georgetown Law Open on Time
The Law Center will open on time Monday, March 2, 2015, but liberal leave is in effect. All designated emergency employees must report to work on time. All other employees may take unscheduled leave, but should contact their supervisor to discuss the needs of their unit and individual circumstances.

Ellis Duncan is the Director of the Graduate Tax Program and an Adjunct Professor of Law. During law school, Ellis served as Senior Managing Editor of the Tulane Journal of International and Comparative Law and as a Judicial Extern to the Honorable Lance M. Africk of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana. Prior to joining the Law Center, Ellis practiced tax law for several years at Dewey & LeBoeuf in New York, NY and at Ropes & Gray in Washington, DC, where his practice focused on the taxation of domestic and international mergers and acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, corporate and partnership restructurings, financing transactions, financial products and other derivatives.
