Continue ReadingProfessor Finley is a Trial Attorney in the Southern Criminal Enforcement Section of the U.S. Department of Justice, Tax Division. Professor Finley joined the US Department of Justice Tax Division in September 2000 as a member of the Honors Program. She prosecutes cases involving complex tax fraud and other economic crimes, including mail and wire fraud. In 2011, she served as Counsel to the Tax Division’s Deputy Assistant Attorney General for Criminal Matters where she worked on issues related to policy, personnel, and significant cases. From January 2001 through June 2001, Professor Finley served as a Special Assistant United States Attorney in the US Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia prosecuting domestic violence cases.
