B.S.M.E., University of Cincinnati; J.D., Georgetown.  Professor Hagner is a Partner in the D.C. office of Womble Carlyle Sandridge & Rice, LLP, where he previously served as the firm's Practice Group Leader for Real Estate Development.  Since 1973, he has specialized in commercial real estate transactions with an emphasis on all types of real estate finance.  He has taught numerous real estate seminars for banks, bar associations, the Urban Land Institute and the American College of Real Estate Lawyers; and he authored chapters of the books, Troubled Construction Loans: Law and Practice and Protecting Your Assets: Surviving in a Litigious Society.
