A.B., Princeton; J.D., North Carolina. Professor Jackson maintains a civil litigation and alternative dispute resolution practice in McLean, Virginia. He was a full time member of the Law Center’s faculty from 1988 through 1994 and has taught courses in legal writing and negotiations and drafting. From 2004-2006, he directed The Writing Center at Georgetown University Law Center. From 2010 to 2012, Professor Jackson served as chair of the ADR Joint Committee of the Virginia State Bar and Virginia Bar Association, and of the Advisory Council of the Department of Dispute Resolution Services of the Supreme Court of Virginia. He is former president of the Virginia Mediation Network, the state’s association of mediators.
