Tristan Jones is a barrister at the Bar of England and Wales. He is a member of Blackstone Chambers, a leading set of barristers based in London. Professor Jones' litigation and advisory practice as a barrister covers a wide range of legal areas. His main practice areas are commercial law, public and human rights law, and employment law. In addition to his practical negotiation experience as a litigator, Professor Jones has wide experience of negotiation training and practice. As a Kennedy Scholar, the UK equivalent to the Rhodes Scholarship scheme, Professor Jones spent two years at Harvard where in 2003 he taught on Harvard Law School's flagship negotiation course, as well as on Harvard's Program of Instruction for Lawyers. He has taught negotiation skills workshops for organizations including CocaCola, Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, Health Net, Merrill Lynch and the Norwegian Bar Association, and has been an Adjunct Professor at Georgetown since 2004. In 2006 Tristan Jones was named Young ADR Professional of the Year in a UK competition.
