Georgetown Law will open at 11:00 am on Tuesday, December 10, 2013, with liberal leave in effect. The Law Library will open at its regular hour. All in-class exams scheduled to begin at 9:00 am will begin at 1:30 pm.

Ms. Kent joined Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr LLP in 1998. After two years practicing general commercial litigation in the firm's Washington office, Ms. Kent moved to the firm's London office to practice international arbitration. She returned to Washington in 2005, where she continues to focus her practice on international arbitration matters. Ms. Kent represents clients in a wide variety of commercial disputes in arbitration proceedings, under numerous substantive and procedural governing laws. Her experience includes ad-hoc and institutional arbitrations, sited in both common law and civil law jurisdictions, including Bermuda, Geneva, Hong Kong, London, New York, Paris, Vienna and Zurich. She also has experience with the taking of evidence in foreign jurisdictions in connection with international litigation and arbitration proceedings. Ms. Kent graduated from Duke University School of Law in 1998, magna cum laude and with membership in the Order of the Coif. While at Duke Law, she was on the Duke Law Journal and Moot Court Board. She received her BA in government and economics from Georgetown University, Washington DC. Ms. Kent is admitted to practice in Maryland and the District of Columbia.
