Continue Reading Dr. Bryan Thomas (SJD) is a Law Fellow with the O’Neill Institute. He holds law degrees in both common and civil law from McGill University, as well as an SJD from University of Toronto, and an M.A. (philosophy) from Dalhousie. His research interests include global and domestic health law and policy, comparative health system, health and human rights, and law and religion.
Upon completion of his doctoral studies, Bryan worked with the Health Law and Policy Group at University of Toronto, as a Research Associate/Research Manager. In that capacity he has co-authored articles on a variety of topics, including the regulation of cosmetic surgery, the public/private divide in Canadian health care, and current developments in Canadian Medical Malpractice Laws.
