Continue ReadingStephanie joined Georgetown University in November 2009 from Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP, where she had completed a six-year term as co-partner-in-charge of the firm’s Washington D.C. office. She has over 25 years of experience representing for-profit and not-for-profit business organizations, their boards of directors and senior management in a broad range of transactional and advisory matters. Named the “Top Corporate/Mergers & Acquisitions Lawyer in D.C.” several times and among the top 25 businesswomen in D.C., Stephanie also has been consistently named a “Leading Corporate Lawyer” by Chambers and Partners, Inc. and as among “The Best Lawyers in America” for a number of years. Stephanie graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the College of William and Mary with a degree in economics. She received her law degree from the University of Virginia and completed executive programs at Harvard Business School and the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. She is on the adjunct faculty at Georgetown University Law Center.
