Andrew (“Drew”) Tulumello is Co-Partner-in-Charge of the Washington, D.C. office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. He is a Vice-Chair of the firm's Class Actions Practice Group and a Vice-Chair of the firm's Crisis Management Group.
Professor Tulumello is a business and commercial litigator with extensive experience defending class actions in federal and state courts, at both the trial and appellate levels. These class actions have involved a wide variety of issues, including unfair competition and consumer fraud, RICO, ERISA, employment discrimination, products liability, and securities.
In 2009, 2010, and 2011, Benchmark Litigation selected Professor Tulumello as one of Washington D.C.'s top litigators based on peer reviews and client interviews and described him as "clearly one of those once in a generation litigators" and "revered as being supremely talented in his securities and class action practice." Professor Tulumello also has been selected by Washingtonian Magazine as one of its "40 under 40" rising stars of the Washington, D.C. bar and by Washington Business Journal as a co-winner of its "Top Lawyer of the Year" award in the category for new partners.
