Our Faculty
Scholars. Teachers. Leaders. With more than a hundred full-time professors and hundreds more adjuncts, the Georgetown Law faculty represents an extraordinary range of pedagogical and scholarly achievement (39 have advanced degrees in other fields).
Our professors are not just of the academy; they are also of the world — arguing before the Supreme Court, testifying before Congress, serving in government agencies. But as accomplished as they are, they also demonstrate a deep commitment to teaching: whether they’re explaining the nuances of legal realism, helping a clinic student prepare for oral argument or chatting in McDonough Hall after the rest of the world has gone home.
