Johanna M. Hickman

B.A. with highest honors, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill; J.D. cum laude, Georgetown University Law Center. Professor Hickman practices in the Washington office of Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP. Her practice includes a range of civil litigation matters in the areas of environmental, toxic tort, and insurance coverage law. She also represents clients in environmental enforcement actions, and advises clients regarding litigation and enforcement risk in corporate, real estate, and investment transactions. Her pro bono practice includes civil litigation, immigration, and civil rights matters. After graduating from Georgetown Law, where she served as a Law Fellow in the Legal Research and Writing program, Professor Hickman served as a law clerk to the Honorable James I. Cohn, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
